Tuition Fees 2018-2019 ᶧ
Cornerstone Christian Academy has two options for payment. Plan B, our regular tuition payment plan and Plan A which offers families the opportunity to receive a discount on tuition in return for 2 volunteer hours per week. Cornerstone also offers a discount to families with more than one child attending the school.
|(monthly for 10 months)||Plan A*||Plan B|
|3+ children (gr. JK-8)||$725 + 2 hours/week||$835|
|2 children (gr. JK-8)||$656 + 2 hours/week||$766|
|1 child (gr. JK-8)||$558 + 2 hours/week||$668|
Families selecting Plan A will assist Cornerstone staff in the following areas: yard duty, washroom custodial duties, teacher assistant, etc. Job selection will be based on need/talents, the Notice of Intention dates for existing families and Application dates for new families.
ᶧ Tuition is determined by many factors including the number of students enrolled each year. Final tuition fees are released each year during the Back To School Parent Meeting held late August. Please refer to the fees from last year for general planning purposes.
Kindergarten Readiness Fees
The cost is $15 per half day for new incoming families or $12.50 per half day for existing Cornerstone families.
Existing CCA families are requested to seek a sponsorship equivalent to $60 per month for 12 months ($720).
Acquiring of School Sponsorships is not required from new families, but appreciated.
Payments are due the first of each month (Sept. 1- June 1). Alternate dates must be approved by the administration.
Payments may be made with cash, cheque or e-transfer.
Families wishing to pay the entire yearly tuition by September 1st, are entitled to a 2% discount.
Existing Cornerstone families, who have been using the Shopping Card Program in the previous year, will have their tuition adjusted accordingly. (Fifty percent of the profit is given to the school and the remainder is applied to the following year's tuition of the participating family.)
Grades JK-8: The Canadian government allows us to issue an income tax receipt for a portion of tuition paid.
Kindergarten Readiness: A receipt will be issued for the entire amount as a "child care receipt".
