Mrs. Carpenter

It is a great pleasure to be returning for my fifth year at Cornerstone! CCA provides such a beautifully unique experience where I am free to naturally incorporate my faith into every aspect of my classroom community and point my students to our loving Heavenly Father in all we do.

I completed my undergraduate degree at Queen's University where I studied French and Canadian Studies (History). In 2010, I graduated with my Bachelor of Education (Primary/Junior) and completed Additional Qualifications in French as a Second Language and Intermediate Division: History. Previously to working at Cornerstone, I taught for nearly a decade in the Public school setting as an Occasional, and Long Term Occasional Teacher for both Core and French Immersion classes. I also taught private piano lessons for many years, and I love to encorporate music into my daily classroom routines.

My husband, Scott, and I have four lively children: Renee, James, Jack, and Eliza. As a family, we enjoy board games, puzzles, technology, and music, music, music! My husband and I are both quite active participants in many areas at church including Children's Ministries and leading in worship.
