Mrs. MacPherson
I am so excited to be returning for my sixth year here at Cornerstone! Having graduated from Cornerstone in 2006, I know the impact this school has on students and I am looking forward to helping students grow in the same way that my teachers helped me.
I graduated from Queen’s University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science Honours, majoring in biology. I then went on to earn my Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University for Intermediate-Senior divisions. After graduating in 2015, God lead me on an adventure I could never have imagined. I accepted a position teaching grade 6-12 science and Bible at a Christian school in Pennsylvania. Although I loved my two years teaching in Pennsylvania, I am thrilled to be back in my hometown, with my friends and family, and teaching at the school that played such an important role in shaping me into the person that I am today. My husband, Mackenzie, and I have been married since 2019. We just welcomed our first child, a son named Brooks, on May 4.
I believe young people are the future of God’s kingdom and that, through Christian education, students will be better prepared to face their futures, with both academic and spiritual maturity. I can’t wait to get to know all my students and grow together this coming school year!
